Honestly - hire a professional colorist, and change the title.

Harsh, but true. you got some nice shots in there that could look a lot better with some tweaking.

Screw em'. I like the title. It's unique and quirky. Yeah, it could look a little flashier in colors but the characters seem great (and to have original voice's for a change.)It seems like a nice little milieu you have to work with.

reminds me of the Louis CK show Louie

A better title might help you sell the movie. Colourwise, depends on what you are going for, but try to get a colourist involved.

I think the most annoying thing you can say about someones project is what it reminds you of ...but... I got a little Hal Hartley buzz goin' from it. God, I miss the early 90's.

Yes, it need a pro colourist to work with it.
Yes there are a few exposure issues.

BUT, I watched the whole trailer (I never do that), and I want to see it.
I'd say that's more important than anything.

    Great job.

sorry to tell you, but the grading looks really bad. honestly? if you don't have the money for a colourist, do it yourself. get one of the great free luts that are out there. either captain hooks lut or some other and tweak every shot for white balance and exposure. I'm sure it will look a lot better than what you got right now. getting the blackmagic footage to look good is not rocket science...
