Anybody know of an economical way to convert the SDI feed timecode into standard SMPTE Timecode?
Basically I'm trying to send the timecode from the camera to a reorder. Any ideas?

    Thanks

I could be mistaken, but for some reason I beleive I heard timecode doesn't come out the SDI on the BMCC.

Firmware 1.2 added support for RP-188 timecode which is a SMTPE standard. Your recorder should be able to just pick up the feed. That said, as of right now, the timecode is only TOD.

FWIW, the TV-Logic 5.6 displays timecode over SDI from the BMCC

Why don't you just do it the other way and send timecode from your recorder to the camera's audio inputs?

There are boxes that can read the timecode from an SDI stream - but they're big, generally fairly expensive and normally are overkill for what you want to do.

Sadly, I've never seen a "little box" that simply takes an SDI feed and outputs a timecode signal - probably because there's not much need for one. Sorry!
