Resolve 16 is 2 days away from a banner being hung outside the building and 5 days away from the NAB grant video. Since if you look at the shortcuts, shit + f2 is media (or injest), shift + f4 is editing, shift + f5 is Fusion, shift + F6 is color and shift + f8 is delivery. That means they still have shift + f1, shift + f3, shift + f7, shift + f9 - shift + f12 for new tabs. Besides a section adobe encore to made blu-ray and UHD disc menu's and burn to discs, not sure what else they can add. Any predictions.

It's not "Auto" but it's really just 30 seconds to do in Resolve

Banner went up. Doesn't show what they added only movies that were edited with Resolve. It stresses editing so there must be an editing tab heavy update. Not my picture. Taken from the official BM forum. Tagline is "Introducing the (word blocked by tree) Generation in editing"

also on the AU BM website

I'm also excited. I expect BMD to move their position forward.

They will have fixed some issues/wishes from DR15. I'm expecting expanded functionality of the 'newer' pages like Fairlight and Fusion. It's not even possible to customise shortcuts for Fusion in R15, so that page never felt quite mature. I'm guessing Fusion in Resolve will completely replace the standalone at some point.

Obviously, from the banner, Editing will move forward too. I think the Editing is already pretty strong, so if they can raise the bar in a few areas here, things will start to look really good.

But... it won't solve all problems. Next up is DR17, then 18 and so on... I do feel that it's a really solid platform to invest time in. Things are moving!

Yeah Im impressed by the movies that used resolve in one way or another. Bohemian Rhapsody, green book, Roma, those are some serious names (even solo and jurassic world are not that bad either)
