Is this genuine prediction or just wish list? Still waiting for thunderbolt 3 version of intensity pro 4k, ultra studio mini monitor 4k. Mainly want the intensity for the time base correction to capture some old analog footage, being able to monitor to a 4k tv is a bonus.

Would not be surprised to see an ursa micro, or new micro cinema 4k to compliment the pocket, shipping a year later of course.

My prediction is a full-frame camera (probably in UMP-like body)
If not this year, then probably the next year

I wouldn't buy it (I'm in the p4k price bracket, this one will be too expensive for me)

Don't think it will happen this year or perhaps ever, but would love to see a 4.6K to 6K sensor with increased dynamic range, 120fps at full resolution, 20-30% smaller body, and 10 stops of ND. Canon seems to be one of the few companies that has more than 6-7 stops of ND in their cameras (C200/C300II). 10 stops makes life far easier for us Florida shooters.

I suspect some version of what we are speculating 4k pro, smaller than ursa mini, ideally that Fairchild sensor, is going to be $3000 and bump the aging Ursa Mini 4k out of the line up. I think that price point is key, it is low enough that many on the P4k wait list would drop it for the new one easing the burden to catch up, but the price is high enough that those that can only afford the pocket are left out. The market price of the original cinema camera when it was first released, true spiritual successor.
