I got a 5 inch Feelworld master monitor for the P4k but for some situations like, bright outdoors, or for handheld work with manual lenses, I find it difficult at the lack of evf, having one means an additional contact point for more stable shots. Since there are ,as far as I know, no available and affordable VF for 5 inch monitors I decided to make one. I made an VF for my Canon 5dmk2 10 years ago and have not use it in a while so I decided to take out the lens part and replaced the "hood" part to fit a 5 inch monitor.
For those interested in how I made the old VF, I posted a DIY guide years ago here, http://tedramasola.wixsite.com/ramas...SLR-LCD-Finder
For the 5 inch version, I used a leftover trash bin which I used to make a DIY mattebox a couple of years back for the "hood". I placed industrial velco on the inside to connect to the feelworld monitor which has a frame with velcro for its sunhood.
I also place felt inside to cut reflections on the plastic hood.

    Edit:
I guess if there are those that want to use a loupe directly to the camera LCD they can also use this with slight modification and make a bracket attaching it to either the top screw hole of the camera mount or a cage.

You also have these, but it looks like you have to screw it off to access the screen...in other words, it's not magnetic.

Yeah, I saw that. It has a cutout in the bottom to access the screen. I decided not to attach it to the camera LCD since I find it tiresome (I'm getting old LOL!) not being able to tuck in my elbows for stability.
With the loupe on the monitor, I can go low or high or detach it for a shoulder rig configuration.

Cool. What software are you modeling with? I’m on a Mac using Blender and my meshes always need a lot of handwork. Booleans are almost guaranteed to break my gcode.
