I just got my BMPCC4K with the SmallRig fullcage and just found out that the camera is too wide with the cage to fit in the Ronin (1/Original).

Anyone with the same problem? I would have never thought of that since this package seems to fit on the much smaller Ronin-S.
Any ideas how to slide the camera in from the back or something?

That's not a problem. The dimension of the camera are on the spec sheet if you wanted to use it with a specific cage before ordering it.

You can screw the safety pin lock out from the ronin and freely push it from the back. I did that to fit the original bmcc to a ronin M. Just be careful not to drop the camera before you lock it with QR.

The pin itself is a screw which you take out, than you have to pull out the "button" part and the spring behind it.

Yes, I probably wasn't really clear with my title. The camera doesn't with the Ronin when the camera is in the cage (it fits the cage).

That's a really good idea! I'll try that, thank you!

I have the P4K, full small rig cage and the original DJI Ronin. Set it up tonight with a Sigma 18-35 without a problem.

My Pocket 4k with smallrig full cage and SLR magic APO PL mount lens fits on my original Ronin fine.

Strange, do you any cables attached?

I have a HDMI cable sticking out of the side quite far.

Admittedly the Speedbooster / Sigma 18-35 combo makes the camera front heavy so the body of the camera sits behind the Ronin cradle to achieve balance. If I was using a lighter lens I might have to stick some weight on the front to act as a counterbalance.

But it fits on the Ronin and works fine.
