    Heey guys,

I have a problem with my Pocket 4K + metabones xl speedbooster. The iris does not appear on the screen anymore?
I tested a sigma lens and a canon lens. Iris stays the same. I disconnected the lenses, disconnected the speedbooster. But still nothing?

(already updated the firmware of the speedbooster)

    What can I do?

    Thanks!

Have you tried cleaning the contacts between the lens and the camera?

So I tried with a native m43 lens on pocket 4K. Works without a problem.
Tested with viltrox speedbooster on pocket 4K, works without a problem.
Tested with metabones speedbooster on GH5, works without a problem.

Only the metabones speedbooster on the pocket 4K, do not function together... Now I am not sure if this is blackmagic problem or a metabones problem or both..

Well, first, yiu gavep tested the PK camera with two different devices, lens and Vitrox, and it works, so this eliminates the camera as the issue. I assume you are using the Canon version of the Metabones Speed Booster, which needs a firmware update to work properly on the new Pocket 4K. This is why is why it works on the GH5, but not the new Pocket 4K. You need to be contacting Metabones to get this fixed.
    Cheers

Yep, just update the firmware. I had the same issue on mine (I also have a Viltrox). After firmware update, it worked like a charm

Interested in this topic. I have same combo with Canon 35 2 IS and 24-105 4 IS and both works fine. Aperture control is sometime lost but not often. Usually when I wiggle with lens. Waiting for SmallRig support for Metabones, then I should be ok.

Yeah I have seen youtube video's of people having this combo where it just works fine. Not sure why it doesn't work for me. Do you know what that lever/wheel/button thing on the metabones does?

I believe it is for mounts/lenses which does need more power. You can power metabones via usb and change aperture with that thing if I am not mistaken.
Btw just found dead pixel on my pocket. I thought my unit is fine, but no luck more me too.
