My cage finally arrived, along with the sunshade, HDMI / USB-C and Ssd holder. This unit has the solid gray finish, not the acid washed tactical and looks very smart.

The addition of the cage really transforms the P4k in a serious tool. Previously I had everything jerry rigged with velcro and odd pieces of kit form my other cameras. This is a worlds difference.

I have to say it's an incredibly well thought out system and I'm glad I waited instead of jumping onto one of the other cages that shipped a lot earlier.

Word of caution. Do NOT over tighten the screws attaching the HDMI / USB-C protectors to the cage. It looks like you could exert a lot of unnecessary pressure on the port of the camera if you over tighten these and drive them into the sockets too deeply. I fastened the screws by hand and then gave them a little twist with a screw driver, just to make them snug.

Also be aware of screws that will extend beyond the thickness of the cage and end up driving into the actual body shell of the camera.

    Nicely done, Tilta.

PS: Sure would be nice if BM made a compact, no frills economical EVF...

I've been using the Tilta cage with my P4K for a few weeks now and I love it.

Tilta also added a few other accessories for pre-order, but I'm waiting on the handle with the SSD holder/Nano-N controls before I place another order.

Does anyone know if the full Tilta cage (no handles) with the Pocket 4k will work with the Ronin S gimbal? Thanks.

My Tilta USBC cable started dropping frames when I connected it today. Until then it never dropped any frames. Does anyone know the reason for this and if an easy fix is available or should I just buy a replacement cable?
