First, get a 4-pound rubber mallet, a magnifying glass, and a dwarf...

Take a piece of long gaffe tape and completely tape as much of the bottom of the battery, then use the excess as leverage to pull it out. Good luck!

stick it in front of a fan or AC to cool it down for it to go back into shape. We talking non BM/canon OEM batteries here? How long did you run the camera for? I haven't had a stuck battery yet

Had the same problem with a fake Canon battery, all 8 of my non-brand work fine. I took a tiny screwdriver, put it between battery and compartment and used leverage carefully to pull it out. Worked fine. Measure your stuck battery, if it's one mm broader than the BM battery, as this was the case with my fake Canon. There's a vid on youtube explaining the differences between fake and orig. Canon LP-E6.

Good luck, should be no problem!

Thanks guys. I ended up having to break the battery to get it out but the camera is fine now. Oddly enough I used a brand new out of the box canon battery from BH. Hoping this is just a fluke. I’ll measure up the batteries from now on.

Good to hear the Pocket didn't get damaged.

Here's the vid about fake Canon batteries:

That videos really interesting. I can’t believe that all 3 new batteries from BH are counterfit. That’s really worrying if it’s true. I’ve attached a picture that shows the battery that shipped with the pocket 4K is about a millimeter shorter than the canon batteries from BH. I’m afraid to put another in my camera now.

Don't put them in, measure them first.
