    I love those frames.

However all these looks depends of many factors, starting with telecine or scan... and for ending, film works ETTR instead of digital.
I'm not looking for a particular look, I'm just looking for the film negative himself look. Then it can go more green, warm, teal&orange... or whatever you want. What I'm trying to say is that film have his own characteristic so far from digital ways to capture images.

If I got what I'm looking for, all the film looks you want , could be much more easy to achieve.
Here is an example from a screen grab of Log P4K. What I did here was just emulate the process of film develop and print, not HUE or color grading work.

Here another test from 709 footage (forgive the so low resolution)

Only film looks like film, but with most digital these days the resolution is good enough that you really need to add imperfections and grain to make it look like film.

We all know only film looks like film. Ok! But your stills look great! Will you share the workflow?

One of the differences could be in the density.
It's like trying to emulate a watercolor painting with acrylic paintings on a black canvas. Not easy.

Attached an example from UMP, quite noticiable differences of density in that house roof.
On the right Log + basic grade
On the left Log transform to film print + basic grade

    Another example:

It's kinda subjective. Film can look pretty much as digital if wants. But the vibe of "indie" film look I think could be achieve as well in digital.

I know those videos. I know what can, and what cannot be done. I don't care if his LUT looks like a print film or like a phone...I just like it. And I like to learn something new everyday
