Hey Robbing,
This is all looking really promising and I think you are really nailing the look!
If you need anyone to test the workflow/LUT for you I have an UMP and BMPC4K as well as BMPCC.
Cheers,
Sam

Robbing, this is great stuff, keep up the good work!
This sound good. I'm interesting to test over UMP and Pocket 4k because allow Lut in camera.
I think this is yours:
I did a bit extreme conversion. ETTL highlights and also -1 the key can help to proper exposure for the LUT. Shadows needs +1 stop fill as well.... in resume: more dynamic range like actual film have!...LOL

Wow! Looks very good. What did you do besides an aggressive (filmlike) gamma curve? Any qualifiers? Hue vs ? Or just RGB curves?
Negative conversion...interesting. Can you elaborate a bit? That sounds like opening new horizons...
I discussed about it here a bit:

I'm focus on those kind of workflows:

I'm not doing the same, but you can get the point.
Roberto, tI've just read the whole topic on lgg...this technique is promising.
Ps. I'll suggest you to focus on the Ursa Mini pro, the extra DR is really helpful and can preserve more information on the blacks and make your technique shine...
Bravo and keep us updated!
I think you misunderstood me. I was dispelling the myth that "only film looks like film." With digital color grading, anything can look like anything if you have enough information. I'm all for this kind of stuff and trying to emulate film. I think it's fascinating.
I think you're getting somewhere. This is the first frame I've seen where I got a distinct film vibe. It doesn't look like very good film, and the effect my be exaggerated a bit too much, but I definitely get a film vibe from this. Good work!
Thanks Alex,
Yep I'm thinking Ursa 4.6K or Pocket 4K.
I have shot with all BM cameras (not P4k yet) and not sure if worth Ursa now if we have the new Pocket. I'm a bit skeptical with BM dynamic ranges. UMP praying 16 stops, let's see how well the new Pocket lift shadows in good hands.
