  1. #1 POCKET 4K button a mystery...
    Hey Team,

    Quick question.
Been playing with my Pocket the last few days.

What does your PHOTO button do exactly ?
Mine doesn't seem to be doing anything, and the feeling when pressed is rather hollow.

Not that it is extremely important, but kinda makes you wonder.

    Input would be greatly appreciated.

    thank you

It saves a single cDNG frame to a different folder on your storage.

It would be wonderful if BMD allowed us to remap that button (along with auto-exposure), cause it is useless to me.

    Thanks Joe,
Does it fire any I do not know.. light blink when pressed on yours ? So at least you know you pressed well or something.
Mine just feels like a dead button with no actual play. Hard to say what it does when pressed. All other buttons have little more heft to them when travelling. This one feels like a button on a cheap 1980's disposable camera..
Sadly this pocket 4k feels a bit like it also but that's another story lol.

ProAV made a video about it, apparently it shows a blink-and-you'll-miss-it indicator:

It's the leaest responsive button I've ever experienced.
You have to literally use your fingernail and angle it in to get it to respond- and there's no physical indicator that it works.
    Pretty useless.

None of the buttons have a decent positive response other than the main record button and the 3 function buttons. All of the rest are mushy, with no tangible "yes, you clicked" response.

It's actually the "do not press this button" button.
