It seems that also Canon LP-E6 batteries can get stuck so, could this be a design flaw?
maybe a design flaw, or possibly a voltage spike or something to cause batteries to overload/overheat and expand? idk
in cellphones when third party cheap chargers are used, they don't know when to stop charging and overcharge the battery which also cause them to swell up and kill their lifespan quick, especially iPhones. In this case, something in the way the firmware/board circuitry/voltage interact or something simple as a compartment design flaw. BMD definitely will have to respond to it, especially if oem canon lp-e6 have trouble as well.

Not a big deal for serious work with external power solutions, but a worrisome annoyance if filming bare and light.

Does anyone know of a external battery solution? I was looking at Juicebox Batteries but I do not see any with a compatible cable for the Pocket 4k DC Input.

Not yet. At this point, we have solutions that use a dummy battery.

I don't think that dummy battery solution would work that well. There's no slot for the cable that's attached to the dummy battery on the BMP4K.

This is what I'm talking about:

Results of testing Ravpower vs BM battery.

Camera settings: 24fps UHD Prores Proxy to samsung evo select micro sd. Iso 25600, screen brightness 35%.

    Ravpower: 48min

    BM: 45min

I’ll do a higher power draw comparison later this week.

Heres a Thai live stream showing the pocket 4k posted 2 hours ago.
Now never mind the language as I don't understand anything he said but what caught me was near the very end he tried to pop out the battery, which I think is 3rd party brand, but had difficulty in doing so.
