I use Win 7 x64 and I couldn't install DR. I will investigate this issue.

    Weird.

I know there is a mention by BMD that Resolve 15 needs Windows 10, but I have not yet found any function that isn't working normally, and my processing and rendering speeds also still seem normal for my hardware.

If anyone knows of any actual specific reason that Resolve 15 might not function correctly on Win7 - please let us know what you've found.

I am also running Win7 (hate Win10) and got Resolve 15.0 running with no problems.
And Resolve 15.1 is also running with zero problems. Just klick install. Done.

    Camera: BMPCC
Lens: Tokina AT-X Pro 28-70 f/2.8 (Angenieux design), Metabones SB XL 0.64x Nf - m43
    Filters: B+W UV-IR Cut, Tiffen Black Pro-Mist 1/4
Natural light, RAW, Frank's "Instant Cinema" Lut
As you can see in the pictures there are some color artifacts because of the lut, but videos were denoised and upscaled to 4K.

These videos were shot at f5.6. I find the picture is too sharp, despite the BPM 1/4 diffusion filter, there is a lot of moire. I would prefer to shoot at f2.8 with an ND filter to get a softer picture.

I think they look fantastic. It's a great location, too, with lovely backgrounds and that big soft source--getting some shades of Barry Lyndon or Jane Eyre 2011, haha.

I personally don't think you need to go much softer. I think f4.0 would be great, but would definitely be curious how it looks at 2.8.

I literally just sold/shipped my BMPCC yesterday and am hoping I won't regret it, haha. Really need the low light of the P4K as my B/specialty cam though. Getting back to this organic level of softness will be interesting.
