I found this on Amazon, New Meike MK 25mm T2.2 MFT cinema lenses. Only $339 us. I have tried a few Meike lenses at photokina 2 years ago. And the optics were pretty good but the buildquality was plasticy. These cinemalenses seem to be a lot better at that. Can wait to give them a try. Anyone has some more info about them?

    Basic info:

Focal length: 25mm, equivalent focal length is 50mm on M43 cameras
    Aperture range: T2.2-T22
    Min. focus distance: 0.25m
Lens construction: 8 groups 10 elements
    Focus type: manual focus
    Filter thread size: 77mm
    Angle of view: 49.7°
    Weight: 560g

Are you (and Amazon) sure they are the same? These are called Meke.

100% sure the lens on the image is Meike, as says so at the top for Amazons post. The Meke above the picture there is just a typo from amazon.

These do look to be another great Chinese alternative on the scene.

Maybe we'll see full set of primes in future?
I had some experience with Meike 6.5mm fisheye. Very sharp and contrast image. It produces slightly purple corners (BMMCC+OLPF filter) and slightly moves image in horizontal axis when focusing (some kind of off-centered focusing thread). The external the build quality looks nice, all metal.

If they made a full set at roughly this price point and uniform size I would seriously consider. I would love to see someone put out a reasonably priced 16mm or 17mm manual. For now I've got the tiny 7 artisans 25mm, and may fill that out with the Meike 35mm 1.7 and the 50 from either of those. I have the Rokinon 12 which appears similar size to the lens at top of the thread and had hoped to complete the compact cine prime set that they did, 21, 35 50. But those seem to be discontinued as well, and were priced higher. Wait and see, i cant see buying this as a one off, but maybe once the pocket 4K is out, I tend to stay mostly on a normal focal length for narrative, and this would be it.

Looks to be a rehoused version of the Meike 25mm F2.0 lens... F2.0 and T2.2 seem to fit at least.

Very well could be a Veydra clone. Chinese manufacturers have no issue with taking designs, with all the problems they seem to be having lately, if they sent their plans to a Chinese optical plant well they'll be screwed now. If they are well made and the full set comes out...

O.k. Quick google of Veydra 25mm pic indicates this is very likely a knock off, not as many markings, and likely not as accurate, but the ones that are there seem to line up. Anyone with access to Veydra willing to bite and see how this compares? I'll bet Meike is putting out one to test the waters, if it sells well would do more maybe.
