Just tried a few clips with CS4 and a standard rec709 arri lut. That looked pretty good to me so far! Does that mean that CS4 comes much closer to arri's CS?

I have mentioned in another thread previously that Gen 4 would match Alexa the most out of our colour science versions so far, yes. The log curves will still be quite different though, as ours are optimized for each sensor and the dynamic range for each.

Does this mean that gen 4 colour is coming soon to the UM/UMP 4.6k camera?

This must be getting close to release ready, updates are happening quick. Does the beta finish at 10, or go until whatever. There are still updates after general release, so what is the criteria.

I want to report a bug:

In the delivery tab, I type in the filename of my clip and then I navigate to the destination where I want to save it. When I select my destination it changes the filename of my clip to the destination path.

Here's an example. Let's say I name it "Test", and then I navigate to C:\Users\Aaron\Desktop, it will change the title of my clip to C:/Users/Aaron/Desktop/Test, which will throw errors when exporting because of an improper filename.

So now I have to be sure I navigate to my destination first, and THEN clear out the auto-filled filename so I can type the name I actually want.

You set the path under "Browse" and under "File" you just type a name, no path.
BTW, for real bugs it's better to use the appropriate sub-forum under the Blackmagic Design forums.

You're not understanding. If I type a filename (no path, just a name), then choose the destination for that file, Resolve automatically replaces whatever I had typed in the filename field with the path to the file.

So for me it'll be like:

    Filename: Test
Destination _______ --> Browse ---> Choose path "desktop"

Then I'll browse, choose location, click okay, and suddenly it looks like this:

    Filename: C:/Users/Aaron/Desktop/Test
    Destination: C:/Users/Aaron/Desktop/Test

Which requires me to delete everything in the filename field and retype just "Test", because otherwise it won't render (can't have slashes or colons in a filename).
