    Hi all,

I'm just looking for a bit of advice. I'm about to start a shoot, but we're having trouble with the follow focus from a gimbal (Crane 2). We're shooting anamorphic (Iscorama Pre36), but the follow focus system isn't playing nice with the Iscorama, as the Iscorama's focus ring moves back and forth.

My thinking was to go with spherical lenses in this instance, but I'm reluctant to do so. The movement of the shots basically rules out a track, and a slider.

    Suggestions?

Maybe get some Russian spherical "anamor-fake" lenses?
They have a fairly unique look, which may or may not suit your project. But they do have some appeal.

You can usually find a set for sale on eBay for not a ton of money.
