I don't know much about this brand but they seem to have a line of impressive fast lens for Sony, MFT, and other cameras. Best of all, they are so inexpensive and could be some fun lenses for the MFT lines of BMD cameras including the new BMP4K. Anyone know about this or are this lenses worth looking into/discussing? Here's the link to the B&H post.

EDIT: It is 7artisans, NOT Artisan7. Sorry.

I might pick up the 25 for kicks to see how it goes. If nothing else it becomes a fast 50 on my Olympus Pen. I can't imagine it being any worse than kit lenses, might even surprise. The only downside is they look really small, not for rigging with follow focus, and may look silly on the big new P4k. Could pair well with original pocket stripped back to basics, no more rigging once the new one comes.

I got the 7.5mm fisheye for Fuji X mount. Love it.

Such good value for money, and it's actually a really good optical performer - and for only $120!!

They are sold under many different names, I'm really tempted to pick up a few, and try them on the 4K Pocket.

I remember an old post about these lenses..they should have good quality at the center, and since the bmpcc has a 2,88 crop, the optical performance shold be very good...

the only footage on youtube I've found belongs to a CEN 25mm 1.8 lens, I do not know whether it is the same 7artisan lens rebranded..

Not too shabby, and a really nice bokeh.

I wonder if they'll produce the 50mm f/1.1 on an mft mount. Apparently the aperture is de-clicked too.

These are from the same manufacturer just rebranded under different names? It's so hard to figure out with these Chinese products, sometimes it's the same manufacturer, sometimes not.

The photography lenses of Laowa looks like the 7artisans and I'm wondering if they are rebranded (or vice versa). They are more expensive than 7artisans and also has a 12mm with cinema housing for around $900. I'd likely want to stick with Rokinon Cine and Cine-D product lines for that kind of pricing.
