If it was a week ago, you should be able to return it, no?

That's why I always purchase from places with a generous return policy unless I'm buying used.

The conversion factor on native mft lenses is 1.9x for this camera.

So the Olympus 12-45 they had on the body I was playing with is really more like a 22-85.

That's the Oly 12-40mm (great lens on the Micro for R&G).
Anyway it will be more like 23-76mm realtive crop.

Ah great, so it's quite similar to using the speed booster atm. Hell I could sell the speedbooster and get another lens or to get a more fitting speed booster and have something closer to a 1.4 crop with the metabones Ultra, hmmmmm decisions.

DP, take your Speed Boosters to a Panny dealer and try the 18-35with them on a GH5S, same size sensor (if not the exact same sensor without the variable aspect ratios) using 4K DCI setting. Then you will know how they will work on the new Picket camwea, no waiting.
    Cheers.

The GH5s is multi-aspect; this is likely not. That will make a difference in crop factors.

Played a bit with it today but unfortunately I wasn't able to ask any BM employee any questions. I would say the footage looks good there are the floor. The noise at the higher ISO is not bad but that's looking at 5in screen, which is actually a pretty good 1080p screen. Also this isn't a production model so I assume it's subject to change. I'm curious to see some footage soon.

Now it being ugly... I have to say before I touched it and seeing pictures here I thought it looked horrible but after holding it in my hand it feels really good! Plus it really does look better in person, it changed my mind!

It's hard not to love this camera after you touch it but I will say battery life is concern and I still want to see some footage.
