What's the ideal form factor for a small camera? Even the Ursa and RED cameras have hand grips for handheld work. I think if you make a box you're getting into a modular system that works for pros but doesn't appeal to the masses.

I'd bet money that everyone taking this wrong. The information only states 4k 60p raw external, everything under 4k 60p will surely be some form of RAW. Makes sense that it probably couldn't handle the data load onto sd cards only. Not a deal breaker for me as the prores 4k 60p will still be above the competition at 10 bit internal and if I really want 4k 60p Raw then I'd use the Atomos.

Seems that there is some kind of typo involved. One of the original reporters stated "internal RAW external flip screen" as in RAW internally recorded and an external flip screen.

If you have a box like Alexa Mini, Red, Kinefinety - folks hate the fact that they need to add everything
from monitor, grips, external battery andwhatnot, including an octopus of cables and they demand an all-in-one solution.

If you give them what they want, they complain about size, weight, form factor andwhatnot.

    It's always the same

My guess is that Grant will suggest the new DSLR shape is to allow for inconspicuous shooting.

No more puzzled looks and 'which camera is that?' questions from tech fans...

My main concern after all this is will have iso options beyond 1600 and is it 1600 usable. The battery seems that it will be better by the body design.

    This made me laugh.

Very curious if it gets ProRes RAW and if it can do 4K30P internally. No RAW without an Atomos would be strange to say the least.

A lot of buttons on the back, not a touch screen? Looks like it might be 4" though, seems bigger. Assuming canon battery, grip looks like it would support.

Can finally crop in on standard 16mm glass and still deliver full HD and 2k, over sampled to boot. Woot.
