Just rig it out with a matte box, etc for clients like that.

BS. IMHO the pocket was a terribly hybrid. Not really a pocket, not really good for rigging it up.
The BMMCC was just a brain, a box. You can put on a 5, Inch, 7 Ich, whatever you want. Full HDMI port.
Put a cage and use NP-F bridge.

Cannot really understand why BM release a "Pocket 2" that looks like Canon D1 DSLR.
It is a film kamera. they should build it like a RED Weapon or Kinefinity. Modular.
I donīt need a display on it when mounting it as a shoulder rig or whatever. A display
is just creating heat and they have to build it bigger. With more fan power.
    Also heavier.

From what Iīve seen ... 4K, S16, MFT is great. But that design looks terrible.
I hope to see a "BMMCC 2" in the near future.

Well, people kept asking for a Pocket 2 and that's what they got.
I still prefer the route they opened with the micro, but well...

The lesson here should be "be careful what you wish for" :P

The added bulk above the sensor probably serves two functions:
    1) It houses the EVF in the rear
    2) It provides internal space to facilitate cooling.

This camera will probably be placed on a gimbal or a cage with mattebox etc. So I would not worry about that. Its the same as showing up with a dslr that has no cage around it.

I love this speculation. No specs and some low res pictures creating all this nonsense.
