That image is almost certainly fake. The sensor shown in the image is exactly the same sensor as the current pocket camera. ( just google the pocket cinema camera and you will see the sensor looks identical to the one in the "leaded image" )
Fairchild ( sensor company BMD gets some of its supply from ) doesn't make a 4k sensor other than the 4.6K. but even that doesn't remotely resemble the sensor shown in that image.

Great find! Thank god it doesn't look as ugly in colour!

It does look just like a photo of someone's iPad with no indication it's even at NAB. I guess we will have to wait and see.

Folks, it’s time let it go for now and just hike down (or up) to the nearest brew pub and have a pint or twelve till Monday. We could all be drunk and happy to anything BMD puts out that morning. It beats speculating. It’s like being able to see a bubble butt and trying to guess if she's hot looking or not.

So, repeating my previous post (to which someone snarkily asked "are you psychic?") the body is ~13cm wide, 11cm tall, 9cm deep.
That hole on the top looks too big for 1/4"/20. I'm wondering if it's a hole for an arri rosette connection for a top handle...

I wonder if they scaled down the ursa broadcast camera, using it's 2/3" sensor but probably not the removable mount.
That's not going to provide exceptional DR.

how about head for the pub with your iphone, mirror your phone to the pubs tv screen and get every one in the pub involved in the discussion.

I don't know, looks like this might be it, the buttons on top match the other image. 30264296_10155777245633863_5054863812298014720_n.jpg

It it's a little bulkier to get better cooling and an SDI on there I don't care how the thing looks, I care about what it captures. Really hoping that it has a touch-screen with the same menu system as the current Ursa Mini OS, swivel screen would be an added bonus. Very happy that they're keeping it S16.
