    I have an original version 10 that came with my black magic cinema camera, anyway to avoid paying for $300 to get version 14 ? I just spent $450 upgrading my video card so I can run it, I'm broke
    BMCC, BMPCC, GH4+Metabones, GoPro Hero4 Black, Phantom 2, Canon T3i, Lots of glass.

    Download Studio 14 from the site, plug in your dongle. Start editing. That's it.

    Well that certainly seems easy. I'm seeing now that the latest Resolve REQUIRES Win10, I'm on 8.1. Rats. I'll have to look and see if I can find a slightly older version.
    Thanks guys! Never occurred to me that it would be easy (save for the Win version problem)

    Looks like I'll have to update to Win10 for $145 or so. Dang.

    I thought upgrading to windows 10 from any previous version of windows was free. Did it with one of my pc's 2 years ago.

    You can install it without a license key to try it out. Use the trial period to make the money. :-)
