Currently one great idea came into my head! Because Battery Enclosure have multiple parallel sockets, you can connect two or more Battery Enclosures with provided DC cable and multiply capacity! 2x batteries give you 100 watt-hour total, 3x batteries 150 watt-hour and so on... voltage remains unchanged. This may be useful for power hungry Pocket 4K camera users. This setup also allow to hot swap batteries.
Multiple batteries may be attached to single cheese plate or rods, so you can use them as one single brick.

And few worlds about current state of LP-E6 type connection plates:
BMMCC/BMMSC LP-E6 socket is slightly unusual and varies of "classic" LP-E6 size and shape. Earlier the main idea was to make LP-E6 type connection plate for this battery enclosure compatible with any existing LP-E6 sockets. As a result i got less tight connection with BMMCC/BMMSC cameras so battery feels slightly wobble. Also Axson F38 polyurethane shrink a lot more than i expected (average 0.2mm at every dimension) which additionally affect connection tightness. It is not too bad, but just not perfect.
It appears that in real life there almost no any device except BMMCC camera that could be usable with this LP-E6 type connection plate. So during next months i am thinking to redesign drawings, order new aluminum CNC machined master model and release version 2 of LP-E6 type Connection Plate. It will fit to BMMCC more precise but will not be compatible with LP-E6 sockets on other devices.
If current LP-E6 type connection plate is too wobble for your taste, you can always put few layers of sticky tape shims in front of it. Also if you wish, anytime later you can upgrade to new tighter LP-E6 type connection plate.

To power USB devices from this Battery Enclosure you can use this DC Power to USB Adapter Converter.
It have 5.5x2.1mm socket input (5.5x2.5mm compatible) and USB Type-C output.
It supports input voltage up to 22V and can power any USB device up to 45W. It also supports different Quick Charge modes for smartphones.

Support Type-C PD and QC2.0/QC3.0/DCP/PE+1.1/PE2.0/FCP/AFC/SFCP/SCP/USB PD
    Input: DC 5.5*2.1mm 10.5v-32v
    Output: 45W Max. (5V/2A, 9V/3A, 12V/2A, 15V/2A, 20V/2.25A)
Currently i pre-order few those DC to USB-C boxes so in few weeks they will be available in my store as well. Seems like useful add-on for Battery Enclosure.

Here are some links to the product:

And here is another cheap and simple DC to dual full sized USB box. It is based on common DC to USB board. Input voltage 6V-30V. Max load - 24W per USB port.

New silicone mold is ready! Now i can start to cast updated version of LP-E6 type Connection Plates. As described earlier, it should fit to BMMCC more tight and more precise.

Good show, looking forward to getting one. Have you thought about adding a Sony type NP mount, for use on monitors that use NP batteries? I would buy one. Your battery pack is very good, has almost the kick of a V-Mount camera battery at half the size. Well done old friend.

I was thinking about this from early days, but it appears that Sony type NP mount is slightly longer than battery cheese plate, so it is hard to fit it into battery design.

Having the mount centered or slightly extending from one end would still work, not a elegant looking, but function is more important here.

The thing is that 99% of people get battery enclosure specially for BM cameras. Battery sales are very slow. I do polyurethane casting by myself and it is very complicated process and takes a lot of time. To make new Sony plate i need draw 3d sketch (1 week to 1 month), ask my friend to draw CAD drawing based on my sketch (up to 1 week), order CNC machined master model from Lanparte factory in China (up to 2 months), build silicone mold (up to 1 week) and finally cast plate (5-6 pcs. per day). CNC machining, silicone, polyurethane and other tools may cost up to $300-$400 total. In the end maximum 3-5 people will purchase that $15 Sony battery plate

New tighter LP-E6 plate was really risky experiment but it ended up successfully! I just done first test casting and some tests. Camera and battery now feels like single solid block. So if someone need new version you can order it now in marketplace and i will ship on Monday. Shipping cost $7.

Please note new LP-E6 battery plate is NOT compatible with SmallHD monitors LP-E6 socket or with any other non Blackmagic LP-E6 sockets. It will fit only to BMMCC/BMMSC LP-E6 socket. It probably may fit to BM VideoAssist, but i don't test it because i don't have VideoAssist.

Thanks, yes, I know this is not an inexpensive process, just to make a few plates. You battery module as it is, is a great product and very adaptable. Thanks again for taking the time to develop it and bring it to market.

    Hi shijan,
if I order now, will I get the latest version of the LP-E6 connection plate?

To be sure to understand what I need: the battery only works for the camera and you do not recommend to connect a monitor or EVF on it?
To recharge the battery, I need to remove the batteries from the battery box or can I recharge by connecting an adapter to the battery box?

In summary: can you tell me what exactly I need to make it work? battery, LP-E6 plate connection, 4x batteries (I already have), battery charger?
