Just a question about a SSD caddy that cctech make- I am needing more cfast cards but this seems a economic storage option.

I haven't bother shooing to dual drive due to me not owning enough cfast cards. Sorry if this sounds dumb- I just want to check- If I purchased the cctech and I shoot 4.6k to dual drives, will I get twice the capacity? So if I use 2 x 1tb drives- the real storage is 2tb?

    cheers paul

The URSA Mini doesn't have a built dual drive redundancy like some other shooting options. The dual card mode is for shooting 4k60p RAW. There are very few CFast or SSD that can handle the sustained data rate. It shoots one frame to one card and the next to another. This mode can be used for other resolutions and frame rates but only RAW. However the answer is yes. Loading two 1TB SSD will give you 2TB of record space. We have several ATOCH adapters and a variety of SSD for our work. The basic principle is the same.
