Looks nice. Though I hope more buttons can be added for iris and focus (assuming those can work over lanc with the micro.)

Yes, Lanc on the Micro supports push to focus and push to set auto iris, similar to how Iris and a Focus buttons work on the Pocket Camera.

I got the BM Ursa Mini handle ($200), which uses the Rosette Mount (fits nicely on Shijan's Rosette Bracket), and has the Iris and Focus buttons that work both Micro (Cinema and Studio) cameras, to set a focus (you get a little focus box to center the subject) and Iris to max f/stop before brightest area on the sensor clips.

If Shijan can keep his grip to under $150 or $100he will have a great product at a doable price point, that will compete with the Ursa Mini grip.
    Cheers

It s possible under $100. But not LANC. I am not too advanced with electronics so the idea was a small wooden handle with simple PWM button to switch recording on/off. Shape was inspired by mix of DSLR cameras, Canon XC10 and Classic AATON handle.

S.Bus version of the handle may fit better to BMMCC with firmware 4.7.1 but needs more complicated design and plastic molded body to fit all buttons, wheels and internal electronic boards.
