I just ordered a cine modded version of the 60mm from 1991 on ebay. If I like it I'm hoping to get a semi-matched set of 19 and 28mm. Should I look for similar serial numbers for a match in "look". What is the focus throw like? Thanks.

I have the 35mm, 50mm and 90mm. Pretty happy with them. Focus throw is slower then Canon lenses, so more easy for follow focus. Yeah You should match your set with +1 or -1. say you have a 31000, take a 31000, 32000 or 30000 for it. Then you should be ok in general. But you can also search for the serial numbers and check if its v1 or V2.

Thanks for the info. The serial # started with 34. Good to hear about focus throw being slower. Is it a bit longer than Canon L, or about the same?

Thanks for the info. I ended up getting version 2’s of 19, 28, 60mm. They’re being cine modded as we speak. Stoked.

Out of curiosity, where are you having them done?
