This is really light and easy to use. I contemplated getting this before the trip and actually bought it 2 days before I left, but even with 1 day of practice, I was able to quickly set it up and get some good usable shots. By the way I also used it with 14mm lens.

I would highly recommend that you get a small quick release plate with it so that you can quickly attach and detach the camera from it and change batteries and stuff. They have a free iPhone app too which will let you calibrate it (not sure if it actually works, but I do it anyway). I have a smaller point and shoot camera (LX100) and when I use that camera on this gimbal, it loses the balance constantly and I think it's because this gimbal is only good for a camera with certain weight. BMPCC and other small mirrorless camera will work great, but if you need it for something smaller, I would look into M-version. Hope this helped.
