No it using Bluetooth LE which does not have the bandwidth for that.
It is very low power so has very little effect on battery life.

The URSA Mini line is all that's left, lol...half of the other cameras are EOL and the other half are the studios.

The BMPCC and BMMCC are still trooping along though.

I just installed the update. But it seems I have zero gain from it it seems. The monitor still looks the same so far. Still a lot of items are greyed out in the menu(shuttermode).
God I wished for remappeble buttons. The 'still' button is placed on the worst place you could place it, on the back end of the monitor! I would love to toggle to photomode, when I am doing a photoshoot, I just can take pictures with the record button on the handle. (or change aputure manually like on a C300).

Wouldn't the camera control be perfect on the micro's ? I guess they don't have the hardware capability but perhaps version 2 . On a job at the moment that uses them as specialist shot cameras and the amount of times I've gone I wish these had an app for that

The micro's need a sizable update to address various issues still present since launch. I really hope that happens. But bluetooth is not built in, you can purchase remotes like Phil's one little remote which runs camera controls over bluetooth to an app but at 275 AUD for a specialist shot camera I'm not sure that it's worth it. I'm not sure how complicated it would be to make something that sends bluetooth commands without the extra control that phils remote offers but that could also be an option?

A lot could be made up for in future updates if BM deems it worthy though. Full camera control via the expansion port would go a long way. Seems like BM didn't really think this one out completely, maybe they spent too much time trying to get global shutter working.

I can see why the pocket is so revered, so much went into making the most out of it over 4 years of updates. The micro spouts 60p, full hdmi, faster rolling shutter and a better battery system but if it doesn't get the same attention the pocket got from the devs then I can see why people prefer the pocket.

Thanks Tim, there are some pretty useful updates for the UM4.6k. To echo Alex and drcoffee2's questions - is DNxHD/HR still on the horizon? I'm not asking for a timeline or anything, just a confirmation (if you can) that it's still in the plan for the Ursa Mini cameras.
