    Yep, it's an 8-bit beast, all right.

    (When recording internally, or outputting through HDMI.)

    I'm guessing Panasonic sales are jumping for joy about now.

    I doubt the new 'RAW' format is 8-bit. I think everything rests on what this new format looks like and how well it works in software. I have a C100 mk2 and while the specs look silly on paper, it handles so well, has everything built in, battery goes on forever and the image punches way above its weight.

    Yeah looks like a gem! This is a really versatile camera even more then the ump. But the UMP will still have the edge in IQ and codecs.

    I watched annoying Kai guy's video and he says the raw is 10bit at 50fps and 12 bit at 30fps.

    Seriously, this camera looks really good.

    Yeah kinda okay for a laugh review but then he went to compare the Micro to gopros and other action cameras without really explaining how it's not quite the same camera for the same application. He wash's over important details which is why I don't really watch him for the information.
