    I got myself a nice little set of Mamiya 654 Sekor C lenses: 35mm f3.5, 55mm f2.8, 80mm f1.9 and 150mm f3.5.
Adapter is quite flimsy when using follow focus, but when focusing by hand it is not that of a problem.

I have used them for two days now and I like them a lot already. I'll post here my findings and experiences.

I'll test these lenses and if they prove them selves worth it I'll purchase positive lock adapter i found on Red User Forum for them.

    Here is few screencaps:

    UM4.6k + Mamiya645 55mm f2.8 Sekor C + Fmlens & Schneider Kreuznach Cinelux 2x anamorphic.

Hmm, this image uploader keeps confusing me. I reuploaded screenshots. Does it work now?

Looks gorgeous. I've just invested in a set myself.

Krzysztof from c7 is going to make PL replacement mounts for each of my lenses (like leitax) as I have UM4.6k PL mount. They certainly look like a good future investment.

    Thanks!

Oh that's nice trispembo! Are those PL replacement mounts pricey?

I have also set of three Zeiss Zf.2s (35mm f2, 50mm macro f2, 85mm f1.4) and I noticed that lately I have been choosing Mamiyas
over them. There is something. I might have to make a some kind of comparison between them.

I have declicked and damped both sets. Zf2s are fully cinemodded. I'm saving money for the step up rings and ff gears for Mamiyas now.

Here are few screencaps from my latest music video which I shot with Mamiya 35mm and 80mm and UM46K

Was this set also done with the Anamorphic adapter? Or just the Mamiya's?

I contacted Krzystof directly for a price. Based on the number of mounts I was ordering (minimum 6) he offered to make each for US$200 each.

I'll send him the original mount, and he'll send back a replacement.

I also got a quote from Les Bosher, and he quoted 300/lens to manufacture and fit them himself.

Oh wow, I'm going to look into these lenses, they have the characteristics I'm looking for. Would any of you be willing to post DNGs or screencaps of footage non-graded from the above shots?

Currently they are still quite affordable (gone up a bit since RED VV was released), but expect these to get steadily more expensive as the demand is driven by bigger sensor cameras.

Also, these are the only medium format lenses Duclos currently offers as a standard "cine-mod" with PL conversion, de-click etc.

Not only are the optics beautiful, but the build quality is excellent (up there with my Contax Zeiss) and works really well for cinema use.
