    Yup.
I am a real audio bitch, and the FetHead passes my unforgiving standards.

I used a fethead phantom for a solid 4 or 5 months with my NTG-3 on a boom pole, but after a while something went botch with the connections and it gave me some horrible scratchy handling noise so I had to ditch it. Do you guys attach it to the mic or the audio recorder/camera?

Usually you put it on the mic, so you have a better signal, before it enters the cable.

Yeah that's how I had it, but I was using a boom with an internal cord that was kind of tight at the top and I think it was pulling on the fethead in a funky way. I'll have to try plugging it into the recorder side and see if it has any effect.
