Also, I've just setup a Vimeo group for the LUT. Would love to see your works in action: https://vimeo.com/groups/bbmdfilmtorec709

Quick before and after video under harsh conditions. Just the BozBMDFilm_to_Rec709 LUT applied. No other Adjustments.

Couldn't figure out how to add the video to the forum, but you can check it out here: https://vimeo.com/208892800

Anyone here interested? I'm interested in URSA 4K. Let Bozzie know and he might just do so.

Boz, I'm going to get your LUTs today. They look terrific. Not sure if I will be able to use them for images from an URSA 4K.

Hey, can you make a few more stylistic LUTS? I understand luts but don't know the mechanics what it takes to create them. Is it possible to create luts that is camera sensor and/or resolution agnostic? If so, how about LUTs for Day4Night, etc? Thanks!

Thanks, Eyu. Appreciate it. The LUT works with the Ursa 4K. For my own personal tastes, I find minor adjustment to shadows with slight overall desaturation makes for a more balanced image. Again, personal taste.

Each LUT is different, no LUT is 100% perfect on any camera system. Too many variations at the point of capture. The important thing for me with the BozBMDFilm_to_Rec709 LUT was to create a balanced image that strives to maintain highlight and shadow detail in one node/layer.

I can create stylised LUT's specific to a camera's color science/gamma. In it's simplest form, a day for night (for example) is just a case of crushing highlights/midtones below a certain IRE and pushing blues into the image. You could easily do that yourself after the application of my LUT! I would certainly consider creating a set of stylised looks specific to the Ursa. My only concern is that it takes a lot of time and testing to get right and I'm not sure how viable that would be at this moment (currently prepping for a film project).

Not sure I've fully answered your questions, but hope it helps. All the best - B
