  1. #1 Fear of a Tilta Cage (BMPCC) + Zacuto Viewfinder bargain.
    Hello,

I have the chance to purchase a pack consisting of a used tilta cage + the zacuto viewfinder for the pocket. Both for $185.
I think it's such a bargain I'm afraid something's wrong with it. What cautions should I have and what questions should I make the buyer?

    Thanks.

It's all just hardware except for the lens on the viewfinder - so it's either broken or it's not. Even stripped out threading can easily be re-tapped.

I might be scratched up - but that's just cosmetics.

Also - make sure it's not missing any parts.

Make sure the evf doesn't have burn spots from the sun. I have owned both Zacuto evfs (first gen and now the gratical)...its easy to burn the screen if you are not careful. Also make sure all inputs and outputs are working (sdi and/hdmi).

It's not the EVF but the regular z-finder 2x.

As for the cage, other than cosmetics, I guess it's robust enough to not worry about it. Am I right?

    Thanks, DPStewart and jambredz!
