    Ryan Gosling. Excellent casting choice.
I needed to see it, but now that I have.... Really good choice.

Lots of shots in the trailer seemed very heavy on the orange. Can't say I'm not excited though.

I must say I love Blade Runner. It's one of my favorite movies ever as you can see from my avatar. There is this feeling of being different than anything in the genre. In fact, it's almost a genre by itself. I have to say I can't feel that same singularity in this trailer. I kind of hope this movie can stand on its own, because going for the same vibe of the original, would work against it, no question about that. Oh... and I dislike Ryan Gosling... a lot... lol

Well, for what it's worth, i get the feeling from the trailers that we're SUPPOSED to dislike him. So it might be perfect casting for you David!

I'm really excited to see Roger Deakins work outside of his comfort zone and push himself. SF is not his usual bread and butter, despite being able to do action just fine (Skyfall). I'm really excited to see this. The lighting and set design looks immense.
