Has anyone had any luck reverse engineering this LUT? I love so much about it, but cant use it for every scene, so I wanted to figure out exactly what it was doing so I could still maintain its look with scenes that the color shifts don't work for. The main thing I can't figure out is how it sort of "deepens" the blues. I tried bringing the luminance of the blues down but it still doesn't look right.

Also, what method is everyone using to bring back the greens? And is there any image degradation to be caused in the LUT affecting the greens first, then bringing them back in?

I'd love to see a V4 color science version of this LUT

Check out Juan Melara's YT channel and blog. He recently posted about deconstructing a few LUTS (Kodak 2383 and this $400 Linny LUT), showing how he does it, as well as providing broken-down (node-by-node) PowerGrades you can play with and adjust. He has an article or two on reconstructing LUTs, too.

Thanks for that Travis. Super informative and a great share. He's got a bunch of talent.
