With the shortage of cameras looking to last into Q1 2013.. I thought I would post the gear I have and my services.

1 BMC EF mount (with Redrock rail adapters and rails)
    1 Viewfactor BMC Cage
3 V-lock batteries (two IDX, one Sony) (and rail mounted battery plate)
1 Bogen 3066 Head on Sticks
    1 Tokina 11-16 f/2.8 Canon mount lens
1 Tamron 17-50mm f/2.8 IS Canon mount lens
    1 Canon 70-300mm f/4-5.6 IS lens
1 NIKKOR 50mm f/1.4 Lens with Canon mount adapter
1 Runco 1.3x Anamorphic lens adapter
    1 (cheap ebay) Mattebox
    1 JuicedLink RA222 Riggy Assist
1 Sony Shotgun Phantom powered mic
1 (old style) Sennheiser wireless system
    1 iPad based Teleprompter

I have various other bits of kit that can be included if need be.

I am willing to rent the camera out locally, but if the job is going to be outside my immediate area, I would need some references and I would have to be made to feel very comfortable with you to send my camera out.

I am more than wiling to also work on your shoot as anything from a PA to a DP/Director.

    My qualifications;

I have been shooting video Professionally for 13 years. In that time I have shot all kinds of things like weddings, corporate training videos, music videos, live concert videos, commercials, a documentary, short films, etc...

I have also free-lanced for that same 13 years for our local cable TV channel doing all sorts of live and live to tape events including things like football games, baseball games, tv shows, etc...

Over the last 6 years I have been in charge of the video department of a mid sized live production company. In that time I have directed IMAG and tapings for large arena sized events. People at these events include Bands like Casting Crowns, Michael W Smith, Newsboys, Skillet, Toby Mac, and many more. Also Speakers such as former Pres. George W. Bush, Sarah Palin, Pam Tebow, and many more.

If you are looking to use a BMC on your production, and you don't have access to one, please consider hiring me and my BMC. My rates are very reasonable, and I am a hard worker. I am struggling to fing good paying work in my very small market, and I am hoping to branch out into bigger markets, working with established production houses.

I am located in the Western half of Tennessee.

    Thanks.

I dont think many filmmakers live in Tennessee. Too bad you dont live around NYC/Philly. I'd take you up on your offer in a heart beat. No chance you would ship it for a weekend?

I won't say no chance.. but I am quite timid about shipping my camera to people I don't know. I can't take a loss of the camera, without being able to replace it in a timely manner. PM me if you are interested, but without me going with it, chances are slim.

I'm an engineer at NASA and we're hoping we could rent your camera for one of our flights. You'll have to be strapped into the rocket too, but we can't guarantee your return (bad russian cosmo policy.) What are your rates?

Well, if you're afraid to ship your camera then you need to take a full insurance credit card deposit in order to rent it out. I just don't see you making much money on camera for hire in TN.

Well, its not about making much money for the camera. Its more about me and my camera getting out there and working.

Ok, I added my ViewFactor cage into the list, and my new teleprompter.

I also have decided to entertain more rental options. I am willing to rent it out without me, but I will need to get to know you a bit more than a rental house would.
