  1. #1 ATTN: All new registrations must be manually approved
If you have recently registered and find yourself unable to post, this is the reason why. The spammers have found us (I was beginning to wonder what was taking them so long). The size of our community coupled with their relentless douche-baggery has made this a necessary step.

Luis, and I will try to approve all new registrations every 24-48 hours. Please have a bit of patience.

    Thanks.

    Later.

Thank goodness, Jason. May you have the grace & strength to do this manually.

Yes. Thank you very much. I was tired of seeing all that random stuff in my rss feed. Strange to me that such a disproportionate amount was about women's purses. Bizarre.

I should clarify that Luis and I will be handling the approval of all new registrations, and we will try to get to them within 24-48 hours on a regular basis

yeah, the spammers that have registered prior to this change will still bother us for another week or so probably. they register in bulk, and then wait in the wings, and come back a day, or several days later (and, in some cases, months later).

Once we get past that batch, it should improve dramatically.
