So I bought this cable to connect my bmcc to the video assist, it is already shipping. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...ilpage_o00_s00

it is a bnc female...I am assuming I needed male? I'm hoping it will work. A quick answer would be nice.

I highly recommend mediablackout.net for purchasing cables for the Video Assist. Alan Rencher is a genius with custom cables and power solutions.

Be sure you get a 75-ohm connector and not a 52-ohm one (radio connector)
Or better yet, just get the correct cable: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/produc...o_Coaxial.html

And save the cable you have to use with a 3G SDI male to male cable when you need a longer cable run.
    Cheers
