Well you have missed a few things, particularly the double whammy by RED, first the Raven 4.5K and then the Scarlet-W 5K. These are both originally targeted to ship in February but maybe we shall see production footage from all three in March, so you still have time to steal some candy from a baby and have another three month 'vacation' before anything exciting happens it seems.

A very short short of a deer friend who jumped by this week shot by an URSA Mini 4.6K PL with SLR Magic 50mm APO prime. Of course you know the video colour on my computer is better, but what can I do?

    Hi Rick,
You have nice pets in your garden...

Did you try to export as DNXHD? For me on a PC colours look identical then. With H264 export I get a colour shift.
    Great you got yours.

I could certainly try that. Which flavour would you recommend of DNxHD? I uploaded ProRes 422 to Vimeo. Even on my computer, I can see some differences in colour from my raw timeline and the ProRes files I generated on Deliver.

I use DNxHR HQ, but there shouldn't be a difference to other DNx codecs in terms of colour and contrast.
After the export I loaded the renderfile to Resolve to compare and didn't find a difference.

Christian, I generated a DNxHD HQ file with Quicktime, but Quicktime 10 and Quicktime 7 won’t play it on my iMac. Do you know a player that supports DNxHD on Apple’s El Capitan OS X 10.11? I generated the DNxHD as a Quicktime wrapper, not Avid MXF. Player will probably do it, but if I recall correctly, I had to rebuild someone’s laptop who was using that since it is involved in the installation of insidious spam software which I don’t want infecting my new computer. I rebuilt someone’s system after I reformatted the hard disk and they’re happy without it.

    Hi,
I'd really like to help, but as I'm a PC user I can't as I'd wish.
I use the VLC Media Player for PC and it works flawlessly.

Here's the download link for Mac:

    Good luck!

Ah, another thing you can try is to upload the DNxHD file to Vimeo. After transcoding you can compare the file to your timeline.
