    So I had 4 of my 6 go like this. All kept in filter pouch at all times. Hoya replaced them for me after I showed them pics of it. So no more pouches for me. Just gonna keep them in the original case.

    Yeah, I read through the whole debacle a couple years ago and decided pouches might in fact be the problem, so I quit using them and stayed with all hard plastic individual filter boxes.
    Not very convenient, but it seems to avert all the problems. And that's worth it. Too many other things always ready to go wrong or cause delays. Cannot afford that.

    Mics: Sennheiser, AKG, Shure, Sanken, Audio-Technica, Audix
    Lights: Every Chinese clone you can imagine

    Yeh I'm sure they know about the issue hence being so good about exchanging them.
