Here's something different. No skin tones to challenge, just an overview of a famous square in my hometown. I would love to see where you guys would take this (it was framed in 2.39).

Here's what I ended up with:

Thanks. I don't remember precisely what I did for those. I probably graded underneath a D60 film print LUT and used a soft clip, or tinted/compressed the highs so you don't see a transition point between clipped and not clipped.

Nice work on the landscape guys. Out of curiosity, what did you use to correct the contrast levels? Basic s curve? Log controls?

Hi Im pretty new here and am a recent BM Camera enthusiast. I have a whole set of FD lenses and I had a hard time finding FD wides This is a 15mm 2.8 FD Fish Eye + A cheap Focal Reducer/Speedbooster (Cost me $300 total for both)

This is my last attempt to stay cheap before just going all out with a Sigma 18-35 1.8 + Metabones

    https://drive.google.com/file/d/1YAN...ew?usp=sharing

Its BMPCC DNG with no IRUV filter. I had to be crazy close to get him in the frame this much was almost touching him

It looks kinda like anamorphic with the distorted edges.. would love to see if lochness save it somehow.

Its google drive just click on link and click download icon on top right.

    Cheers

What am I saving? The distortion?

    I kinda like it.

    Especially in 2.4:1

    Here's the distortion corrected version:

    And in 2.4:1

Got a new monitor, nothing special but much better than I had before. The Dell ultrasharp u2415

Now tell me did this come out okay to everyone?

    Grade my still_1.1.12.jpg

Also it has multiple kelvin settings. Should I be using 6500k?

Here's one graded on the 7500k setting instead. Which is better?

Yea, I'm also bummed about the lack of DNGs. Hopefully I'll have some I can share soon. Anyway, I took a crack too just because. I wanted to try and create a color pallet similar to her outfit. Who knows if I pulled it off, it's late!

Sharing this, shared the processed images in another thread. It is from a music session it shot and lit in February.
