"This software update for the Production Camera 4K includes on screen histogram, audio metering and time remaining indicator as well as improvements to sensor calibration processing"

4K Camera owners for now, but they say it is coming to the other cams!

Great news for 4K owners, four big problems hopefully fixed. Really looking forward to audio meters and histogram for the BMCC and Pocket soon (hopefully?). Link for 4K owners:

I'm not at home to test. Does FW 1.9 "sensor calibration" fixes FPN?

FPN is BETTER! At least on my 4K cam. Will upload test (shot in video mode)

Is ISO 800 more useable than before?

Just did another test at 800iso - Yes! But still shows sensor issues when pushed in post. (Test in Video Mode)

I wonder if it will also help reduce hot pixels. Anyone test this please.

Never really saw hot pixels on my 4K but FPN was always a issue when shooting low light or sometimes in good light. It seems much more useable to me. When shooting before 1.9 I usually had a challenge exposing for the dynamic range - sacrifice the highlights to protect against FPN or expose for shadows and let the sky, etc. blow out in a ugly fashion. I think I can now bring up the mid-tones without fear of the FPN rearing it's ugly head! Excellent!
