    I have 9 Nikkors. 6 primes, and 3 zooms. All excellent with the Speedbooster. All the lenses except 3 are the fully manual Ai-S versions, but the newer Nikkor AF lenses work...

    It's the closest I ever come to just applying something and having it be effectively DONE.

    Shooting in fog or with heavy diffusion simply gives you subject material that 'allows' you to more easily see FPN...IF it's there.
    This of course will be the case with any camera.
